FORWARDERS CONNECT IS A NON-EXCLUSIVE NETWORK
We want to enable networking opportunities for all freight forwarding companies. We want to shape the best environment in which you can assess and cover your risks , where you can optimize your workflows and make savings on cost along the way. With Forwarders Connect we want you to scale and grow your business. All we ask in return is a focus on working with your network partners, a proactive approach to your business, a professional attitude, and to uphold agreements set between members and partners of the network!
HOW TO BECOME A forwarders connect MEMBER?
We feel that it is of the utmost importance that each member of Forwarders Connect Network contributes and participate actively in the Network.
To apply for Forwarders Connect membership, you are required to complete our standard application form and agree to our general terms and conditions, code of conduct, and website user terms.
Once submitted, your company will undergo a thorough screening process. This includes checks for financial stability, security risks (KYC), and a detailed background review using industry references. Failure to meet any of these requirements may result in the application being declined.
Upon approval and receipt of your membership fee, your company profile will be activated. You’ll then be able to complete your profile details, add key contacts, and become visible to all network members.
As part of your onboarding, we’ll also send an announcement to the network introducing your company to fellow members.
CRITERIA FOR BEING A FORWARDERS CONNECT NETWORK MEMBER
- You must be an Independent Freight Forwarder.
- Must have a financial adequate solvency.
- Pass our thorough credit check. .
- Submit 2 references of industry partners (forwarding companies) located in different countries than your own to account for your track record.
- Submit to the standards, requirements, and qualifications of the Forwarders Connect Network. (Terms & Conditions, Website user terms and code of conduct)
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM A FORWARDERS CONNECT NETWORK MEMBER
- Invest in your own future.
- Be pro-active promoting and marketing your business within the network.
- Have focus on cooperating with network members and partners.
- You are evolving and scaling your business and business practices.
- Contribute to the Network with ideas and information that will allow us to improve our Network and maintain the highest level of service within the Network.
- Uphold the quality standard of operating that the Network or members of the Network set in both commercial and operational matters.
- Uphold the payment /credit terms that are set between members.
- Answer enquiries from fellow members quickly and politely.
- Report any irregularities, either financially or operationally, in conducting business with Network members or third parties.
- Attendance of our Global Meeting Conference (at least once every 2 years).
- Respect the International rules and regulations of conducting business with foreign countries. To not be involved in any illegal activity, such involvement would lead to immediate termination of the Membership.
- Be open to new ideas and the implementation of technology.
